Psalm 1:1 – 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yield its fruit in season.
How many times can you say you have been able to say thank you to Papa for “showing” Himself to you? What I mean to say is, when has “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” shown ‘themselves’ throughout your days?
It’s so easy to complain! But, did you know it’s even easier to “choose gratitude over complaint”? You know that in order to have a thriving garden full of one nourishing goodness after another, a healthy supply of clean water is essential. Otherwise, there will be no “fruit” for you!
Well, we are the plants that need the constant nourishment in order to bear fruit. What kind of quality of life will you choose? One that bears rich, unbruised, sweet and juicy fruit or bland, bruised and sour fruit?
“The God who has revealed Himself to us is our source of strength, wisdom, joy, understanding, and peace. As we steep our souls in the words that point us to Him, the work of God’s Spirit will be evident in our lives.”
Go blueberries! Go strawberries!
Thankful and happy…most of the time :P,
Lisa
