2 Kings 23:12 – 14, 21-25 You shall have no other gods before me….You shall not bow down to them or worship them.
There are cultures in this world that have literal or metaphorical gods in which they worship. But, when we seek to have our questions answered apart from God, consciously or subconsciously – we are pursuing a false god.
Do you believe that Papa has the answers to our questions? Are there idols in your life that need to be thrown in the fire? (literally or figuratively).
“Lord, forgive us for those things we turn to that show our hearts are not focused on You. Show us what we need to give up, and replace it with the presence of Your Holy Spirit.”
