Philippians 1:1 – 11 He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.
That’s really the important thing to remember here…we are not alone on this wild journey ride. And, what better way to experience it than with strong spiritual faith?
It was during those awkward middle school years when I questioned God and Jesus. It was confusing to me. My spiritual connection was weak. It only took me ten years or so to start to develop a solid relationship with Him. And, now, presently, many moons later, and, only has my spiritual connection grown stronger.
Point that I’m trying to make is that it’s quite often that our spiritual growth happens over time, as we transform through the ‘renewal of our minds’. And, that’s o.k.
The more that we try to honor Him, the more we’ll recognize sin and our own personal failures and want to turn them into opportunities to grow and deepen your relationship.
And, when things are calm or when failures arise, we don’t need to sweat it. This just means the spirit is hard at work, and, we just need to enjoy the ride, hopefully, with many smiles.
“Dear God, give me the desire to grow spiritually. I want to honor You with my life and experience the joy of the Spirit’s work inside of me.”
Aw, Sunday. Let’s take it all in…
