‘Strife is that friction that either simmers under the surface or explodes in the open between people who disagree about something.’ Oh, how most of us probably fall in the boat of a combination of the two, unfortunately so…
We may get a little feisty behind the wheel (but, keep it to ourselves ;P), get frustrated when we don’t understand something or something doesn’t go as planned, or, mama’s of tator tots, what about those times when the best solution to stay sane is to walk away, but, venting sometimes seems like the best thing to do at the time. :/.
We’re human. Yes. Explosive desires will remain reoccur ant. But, will our bubbly’s stay at a ‘simmer’? Or, boil over, causing a mess on the stove?
Breathing works and is used quite often in my household. 😉 Or, counting down from 10. Walking away, if you’re able, is always a great way to briefly refuel.
“Dear God, Please help me to manage my anger in a way that does not lead me into sin. Give me self-control through the power of Your Holy Spirit.”
Proverbs 20:1 – 15 It is to one’s honor to avoid strife.
Breathe again, breathe again…(la la la la la la),
