We all have a choice, don’t we? To be at peace within ourselves, regardless of the extenuating circumstances, or allow negativity to permeate into our heads, leaving us feeling upset, frustrated, unhappy and, completely taking over, leaving us feeling like we didn’t have a good day.
Gosh, darn it. That’s life. Negativity is the never-ending yang to our ying, but, we just have to let those short-lived moments pass and “look on the bright side”. There’s a lot of light that surrounds us, despite how dark it seems at the time.
I’m not always the best at this. I deal with anxiety, which, leads to short spouts of crazy emotions, where I go spiraling down a dark hole, where nothing seems to be going right, or, wow! I have so much to do I can’t get a hold of anything. But, like I said, it’s short-lived. Once that moment passes, I’m good. And, so are you.
There’s too much goodness that surrounds us. Just like in my video that I posted for the day, who wakes up and says that they want to have a bad day? No one. We all want to have a good day. Oh, but, this and this is going on, and, she said this to me, or my loved one passed, or, gosh, I work so hard I can’t find the time to sleep…the list goes on and on. And, it always will.
I dare you, friends. And, like my mom says, always make every day a good day…regardless. Period.
Matthew 26:17 – 30 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.
“You are always worthy of praise, Lord, even when I don’t feel like praising You! Help me to learn to praise You more and more.”
We’re never alone.
