Oh, all of the temptations that surround us while we are here on Earth…But, we have a choice to make at all times, don’t we? Do we take a bite out of the apple or do we run to Papa, asking genuinely for his strength?
For some of us, it’s easier to go astray. I don’t know if it’s because some of us are “weaker” than others, because some of us hold more “weight” than others, making it harder to do what Papa would want for us…It’s just that temptation surrounds us, all of the time, and, we’re human. So, sometimes it’s hard.
I think it boils down to mind over matter…when those little moments pop up and, we have a choice as to what path to take, the lit up or the dark, unpaved road…we should at these moments get up and, go do something. Whatever. Just something! To get our minds off of that temptation. Usually there is an emotional connection with these desires, usually when we are feeling weak, sad…when all of our “Love Tanks” are not filled (more to come on this later). But, let’s turn these off, even if it’s for a small duration of time. That temptation just might be forgotten if we do something that brings us happiness.
And, if we do this every time, wow! We just may want to give ourselves a pat on the back because we remained strong. And, it’s that lovely positive energy that certainly helps get us through these moments of desired weaknesses.
So, again, don’t fret. We’re not alone. Let’s just let the moment pass and occupy ourselves with something that brings us joy!
That’s all for now! Have a super blessed day!
Love,
Lisa

1 Corinthians 10:1 – 13 God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
“Thank You, Lord, for Your promise to be faithful to me and provide a way out whenever I face temptation. I praise You that You are willing to give me all the strength I need!”
Amen to that…
