There’s no doubt that when we put our minds and hearts on something that we want, we want it much sooner rather than later, but, that “sooner” just doesn’t come fast enough sometimes. We get restless, we start to question if Papa is listening, we start to dwell on all the people that are ‘gaining unjustly’ and, grumble.
But, there are some factors to consider:
- Judgment comes. We’re not perfect. We do sin. So, the universe adjusts according to our actions. When the timing is right, our prayers will be answered, if…
- that’s what Papa wants for us. Sometimes He has another plan. A better plan, believe it or not.
What it all boils down to is this:
‘Sometimes the appropriate response to God’s seeming silence is…silence!’
We have to ‘check ourselves’ and practice humility. It’s too often that we ‘easily overlook our own spiritual poverty, a.k.a. don’t take accountability for our own actions, our own karma.
This is where silence is the Golden Ticket to reaping the rewards of The Holy Spirit, and, staying happy with the Universe. ‘Silence allows us to recognize our sinfulness in the presence of a holy God’
We’ll live in obedience, humble ourselves when we do wrong and wait patiently because He surely is looking out. ‘Nothing is beyond His control and timing’.
While we sit in silence and hope for our prayers to be answered, why not reach out to those that need some support and answer someone else’s prayers? Be someone’s guardian Angel…
Let’s be one with nature and, go with the flow (all the while, keeping the Faith, with our eyes on the light!)
Hope you have a great day,
Lisa
Habakkuk 1:1 – 4; 2:20 How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen?
“Lord, when trouble comes we can pray like Habakkuk, “We have heard of your fame; we stand in awe of your deeds. Repeat them in our day; in our time make them known.”
Amen
