How do you feel when you have the opportunity to clean out a space that you have been meaning to get to, you purge things, and get things all organized? I know the first word for me that comes to mind is relief. You?
And, then we tell ourselves that we are going to do our darnedest to keep it all organized, but, some how, some way, that once nice and clean and organized space gets flipped upside down…So! We do it again. And, again, and, again.
That’s our life, folks. Our inner selves tend to get filled with malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk, and, WE NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE…because!…otherwise, we are keeping ourselves from ‘fully loving others and growing‘.
And, isn’t this what we want? Fully loving others and growing?
Some situations or feelings we have towards others are more complicated than others, but, through Papa’s grace and patience, He demonstrates his understanding through signs, letting us know what direction we need to take and the steps to make things better.
It’s then up to us to take action, to “clean house”. Daily “cleaning” is a good practice. Then, in that new, clean space, we can experience the wonder of being freshly built by Christ’s power and life.’
Something to remember…
‘When our walk with the Lord feels cluttered and our love for others feels strained, this shouldn’t cause us to question our salvation. We don’t change our lives to be saved, but because we are.’
Promise me (and, I’ll do the same) to follow your heart, cleanse your soul and free yourself!
Yes!
Love,
Lisa

“Heavenly Father, thank You for the new life You are building in us through our Lord Jesus. Help us to daily turn to You for cleansing and renewal.”
