(It’s wild, but, these last couple/few Breads have really pertained to my current life!) (doo, doo, doo, doo.  doo, doo, doo, doo)  ;P

Anyway, today’s Bread is all about learning to set yourself free.  One MAJOR way, first and foremost, is to be open and honest.  Then, ask for forgiveness, if an apology is necessary.  Once these two acts have been completed, then, we are on our way to experiencing a positive reward in return, whenever Papa wants to hand it to us.  Isn’t that so neato catreato?, that Papa so desires to reward us in more ways than one, and, all we have to do, ALWAYS, is to try and spread LOVE?

Awesome!  We’re pretty blessed.

But, you know, being open and honest isn’t always easy.  No way, jose!  Excuse my French, but, sometimes it takes a SHIT TON OF COURAGE to be open and honest.  But, you know, if that’s what it takes, that’s what it takes.  I believe one way to help us get through these tricky times is to always remember that PAPA IS WITH US, HOLDING OUR HANDS, CATCHING OUR FALLS…So, need not worry, as scary as it feels…

And, then, after all that, we have to apologize and admit that WE DID SOMETHING WRONG?  Whew!  That can be difficult at times because we have to brush aside our pride and strengthen OUR CHARACTER, developing our ability to practice humility.  (I like the sound of that ;P)

We can all say that we have…

‘experienced the pain of personal sin’

And, when we tell the truth and apologize, we can receive the ‘joy of restoration’.  🙂

‘Acknowledging Jesus as Lord, admitting our sin, and faithful relationships with God and others.  By submitting to our loving Creator and Sustainer daily, we can serve Him and enjoy His presence-together.’

Love,

Lisa

Joshua 7:1 – 12     I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction.

“Lord, please help us recognize, confess, and turn away from our sin, so that we can nurture loving relationships with You and others.”
