Hey, hey, whaddya say, you wanna live a great life, starting today?  Shout out loud if you wanna  live  a  great  life!  Of course we do!  According to Our Daily Bread, the way to do it is to know Jesus.  I’m assuming it’s because when we take the time to think about what he endured, it humbles ourselves.  We get out of our own heads (which, sometimes work against us ;P), and, push through our difficult times…Jesus had to remain strong and courageous, even though so many were against him.  And, we can take religion out of the equation, if we want…he was a person just like us and, he was anointed.  Papa worked through him.  Papa can work through us, as well!

While I grew up going to church, I honestly do not know the Bible very well.  Therefore, I only have snippets of knowledge about the good work Jesus did while he lived here.  It would be worthwhile, I would think, to read about his good deeds while he was here so we can use him as an example (a role model, if you will) of how we want to spend our days.  And, then, of course, we can take a moment, in the midst of our crazy day-to-day lives, and, think about his last days here on Earth.

It’s too often that we grumble or have the attitude “If only…” or, “should’ve, could’ve, would’ve”.  I suppose that’s normal, natural, but, let’s have these moments be extremely short-lived and instead, reflect in our choices so we can be a better person because of them.

Let’s keep Jesus’ wonderfulness in the forefront of our minds and hearts!

Make it a great day, or not, the choice is ours!  ;P,

Lisa

Philippians 3:1 – 11     I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.

“Dear God, as I seek to live a good life, help me remember that knowing Jesus is the way to ultimate goodness.”
