You ever feel like you stand out like a sore thumb in a group setting? Or, what about feeling like your voice is not heard or validated, for whatever reason? Yep. Both fit the description of my life, at times, as probably many of yours, as well. And, it stinks, but…the One whom DOES accept and love our eccentricity and appreciates us sharing our thoughts and feelings is Our Very Own…Ours Truly.
And, that’s all part of the deal. Life is hard, and tricky, and stinky, at times. But, thankfully, the Universe understands this and gives us the strength, the reassurance, the wisdom to pull through, regardless of the degree of difficulty the situation(s) presents. But! As we know, there’s a “catch” to receiving the goodness…more like a mandate (a blessing), to reap the rewards.
We have a choice to make, don’t we?
When those stinky times arise, Papa is testing us. Will we, or, will we not, pass His test? Boy, oh, boy, does He just loves saying thank you!…through His blessings of grace, patience, clarity, strength, “coincidences”, miracles. And, all of this love continues to fluidly pass…back and forth, back and forth. That is! IF we make good choices…”boys and girls” :P! It truly is a God send! 😛
‘My heart leaps for joy when I realize that God doesn’t watch over and protect me because He’s obliged to but because He wants to.’
There’s that “force field”, if you will, when both parties are on board and wanting the same things out of life, the attraction is intense! So, think about it, when we have two powerful energies joining together, we have an explosion! That’s right, an explosion!…a firework, baby!
Whaddya say, let’s light up the night! We’ll focus on the light and not worry about the nincumpoops (we’ll just pray for them ;)).
Love,
Lisa
‘When we feel overcome by the troubles of life, we can rest in the knowledge that God, our Lifeguard, sees our struggle and, because of His delight in us, watches over and protects us.’
2 Samuel 22:17 – 20 He reached down from on high and took hold of me.
“Thank You, Lord, for seeing my struggles and standing ready to save me. Help me to trust Your rescuing love more fully.”
