Good Grief! At Least It’s Only Temporary ~Our Bread

You know, life can be so confusing and leave you constantly trying to figure out things because we feel so strongly about something or for someone.  And, we just don’t get the answers fast enough, making us feel impatient, anxious, uneasy, conflicted.  But, when we do this, what we aren’t doing is practicing patience, self-fulfillment and contentment.  Does this make any sense whatsoever?  That leaves us with the big fat obvious answer, NO.  But, we do it anyway.

Thank goodness and good grief!  Our moments of grief (and, anything negative for that matter) is only temporary IF we practice a little self control and live peacefully on our “canoe ride” in the middle of the “ocean”…hold on tight when it gets a little rough, kick back, relax and smile when there is stillness.  Maybe we want to get “there” faster, but, isn’t the wind on our feet, the sun peeking through the clouds amongst nature’s music pure bliss?

Sounds kinda poetic, right?  😛

I think the key is to put out the right vibrations that will then travel through space and bring back to you similar vibrations.  Depending on what are you “asking” (lit or darkened energy), will determine what is received in return.  When we take the time to truly focus in on this simple, yet powerful fact, we are gaining strength since we’ll then stay more conscientious on our word choice, prayer time and personal behaviors…putting our energy towards what we would like to personally manifest.  We can thank Jesus, and so many more for leaving a beautiful, loving legacy behind that we count on regularly to help us through as we “travel” along our own personal journeys.

So, thankfully, and, with the utmost appreciation and love towards those beautiful souls still floating and blessing us each and every day, we know that our grievances that we experience are temporary.  Love and beauty do surround us.  We just have to stop and smell the roses.

Let me leave you with this:

All the best,

“Dear Lord, we long to be in Your presence, especially when we face pain and sorrow.  Yet You have not left us on our own.  The Holy Spirit lives within us – and gives us joy.”

John 16:16 – 22     You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.

We Are Awesome Sauces! Our Bread…

BraverStrongerPurer.  More peaceful and lovingLess Selfish.  This is what Papa wants for us as we go on our journey of life.

His single-minded purpose is our maturity.’

It’s interesting, because as we age, we learn more and more about ourselves…what we like, what we don’t, not afraid to say no…no longer fearing what others might think.  In my head, I’ve always wanted to blend in, afraid to disagree and state my opinion because I always wanted to be viewed as a “team player”…the one who’s flexible, positive, easy going.  I suppose part of the reason, too, was/is because I am afraid to speak in front of my peers, especially in a large group setting.  But, I’m pleased with my “evolution” over the last year or so…it’s getting a little easier…

When there’s passion in our opinions, don’t we feel more confident to speak freely our beliefs?  We’re being true to ourselves, right?  Isn’t that what Papa wants?  As our peers may be judging or criticizing, what God thinks is the most important…so, let’s let our selves stand tall, because Papa is with us every step of the way!  🙂

We’ve been given a ‘love that lasts forever and a God who will never give up on you.  That’s a good reason to have joy and to “come before him with joyful songs”.’

And, if we ‘can’t carry a tune, just give Him a shout-out’!

Here’s to continuously evolving into beautiful butterflies!,

“I’m grateful, Father, that You are at work in me.  I find it difficult to change and I wonder sometimes how or if I ever will.  Yet I know that You are continuing Your work in me and as I look back I will see the growth You are producing.  Thank you!”

Psalm 100     Know that the Lord is God.  It is He who made us, and we are His.

We WILL Stay Adrift! Our Bread…:)

I think the trick to making it in this world is to believe in a Higher Power.  (however you want to perceive it) And, know, wholeheartedly, that with grace, hard work and prayer, we’ve got this!  Ain’t nobody or no thang gonna hold us down.  Oh, noWe’ve got to keep on mo vin’!  😉

However, sometimes we are ‘movin”so fast that the signs that are our “Director” is pointing out to us are being ignored.  Makes sense.  It’s easy to do.  The day in, day out hustle and bustle routiney weanies get us acting nutso because we are not. made. to be. robots!  But, we have to be take responsibility ;), so, we do.  Perhaps, however, we can      s l o w down the speed in which our responsibilities are still taken of care.

For example!  It just may be o.k. to have a picnic dinner and end a little later, getting off schedule a bit, maybe prolonging dishwashing, since the laughter, the conversations, the cuddles, the MEMORIES make it all worthwhile.  We live one life.  At the end of the day, everyone’s needs will have been met and everyone will have gotten the amount of rest needed.  Point is, getting slightly off schedule and switching it up a bit usually turns out to be a blessing and worth every minute of uncomfortableness.  Sometimes we have to get out of our comfort zones in order to really connect with the Universe (love).

And, then there those times in our lives when it requires a lot more strength and courage to keep our faith.  Our world sometimes feels like it’s crumbling…nothing is working out…it’s one thing after another…It’s easy to lose hope.

It’s much harder to “stay adrift” despite all of the “series of unfortunate events”.

But, we’re better than that!  And, MUCH MORE CAPABLE.  We have our “homework assignments”, for sure!…actually LISTENING to Papa and actually DOING the hard work that is required to reach our goals.  It’s pure silliness to expect miracles to happen if we stay sitting on our couch, only pray and, DO NOTHING.  Eckh!

If it’s a peaceful home and a productive life that we desire and/or hope to maintain, keeping our eyes on the light, combined with determination, resilience and perseverance, we’ll reap gobs and gobs of rewards.  It will be a win-win for everyone…YOU’LL SEE!  🙂

Promise me that we’ll stay adrift, despite

“God, thank You for the beautiful promise of a home.  Please bring peace to our world, and provide for the needs of all of Your children.”

Micah 4:1 – 5     Everyone will sit under their own vine and under their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid.

We Got This! Our Daily Bread…

On our knees, in the shower or the car, or somewhere in between, we’re certainly supposed to seek out a Higher Power when our lives represent ‘storms’, perhaps, the ‘perfect storm’.  And, we really ought to seek His guidance when we think it’s the perfect storm because with that, even, comes fear.  How can it be true?  Could it really be a fairytale?  What if the unknown turns out differently than what we believe?

This, I believe, is when we really need to be on our “A Game”…when we really ought to pour out our hearts to all things that light up our lives and, if they reciprocate the warmth, joy and acceptance, then, these are the relationships that need to stay “well-oiled”.

With obedience comes responsibility and, with obedience, comes paying attention to Papa…because He will respond…He will continuously present signs…to show us that we’re on the right track…or not.  Papa wants us on his “boat”, for sure.  He yearns for our presence, our humbleness, our persistence…despite the “storms”.

We have a choice to make, don’t we?  Do we take on these “storms” as if they are challenges?  Challenges that require us to get out of our comfort zone?  Challenges that make us feel uneasy?  Perhaps, insecure?  OR!  Do we take on the feeling of defeat and hopelessness?

Let’s not do the latter!  We’re stronger cookies than this!

‘God’s comforting presence’ provides us with safety and protection.

So, even when life isn’t going our way, we have on our “armor”…just maintain a good relationship with God, the Universe (however you want to call it), because this crazy energy is magical and, gosh darn ESSENTIAL (that is, if you seek clarity, strength, healing, …, …, …, …)

‘When fear causes hope to fade, flee to God, the refuge you can reach on your knees.’

“Father God, help me trust that You are bigger than any fear I have.”

‘Psalm 91     He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.’

Boy, Oh, Boy. It’s Hard Sometimes to do Just That, But, “Staying on the Train” is ESSENTIAL. ~Our Bread…

If we don’t keep our faith and walk in the LIGHT, we can drive ourselves completely cuckoo.  Do you agree?  The trials and tribulations are here to stay.  That’s life.  It’s how we react when the Universe decides to throw us curve balls is what matters.  Do we catch the balls and throw ’em back or do we dodge the balls because they’re out of our league?  Life is all about choices, right?  What kind of “responses” from God do we want to receive in return?  It all falls back on our reactions to circumstances that will determine our fate/destiny.

Check out this clip on energy transfer: Hand Therapist

So, with that said, we have a lot of power in what energy we decide to channel…light or dark, happiness or sadness, faith or hopelessness.  The list goes on and on.  I would think we would all desire to channel our energy that will pass on our light that is bright and sparkly.

God doesn’t allow for our sparks of light to go completely dark.  (thank Goodness for that) Our lives are just like campfires…if we don’t pay attention to what it needs and respond accordingly to return it to a blaze, it will stay solemn, dull, and discouraged.  But, we can make changes in our lives, can’t we?

If we truly stay in tune with what God is telling us, everything will fall in to place.  There’s really no point or benefit in dwelling, festering, complaining.  Get it out of our systems and, MOVE ON!  Otherwise, we’re just “burning our popcorn”.  Popcorn should be delightful…fluffy and happy.  😛

So, let’s leave with this: Stay bright and shiny and ride the wave.  Sometimes it will be a tidal wave with thunder and lightning, but, knowing that these occurrences are blessings in disguise should help us stay smiling through it all and remain happy, regardless of how sh#@*y it seems at the time…because, in the end, if we “pass the test” and remain as “obedient” as we know how to be, Papa will show his gratitude, and, we’ll be in…AWE.  🙂

I’ll be finishing up travel school over Thanksgiving break and, I just became a subscriber to a travel magazine.  Can’t wait to share what I learn from reading these.  In the future, would you like to travel with me?

More information from what I’m reading to come.  Hopefully today…

“Dear God, I thank You that I can always turn to You.  When I am faced with the difficulties of life, I can put my trust in You.  Thank you that You are my “refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

‘Habakkuk 3:16 – 19    The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer.’
